EWG Senior High

Our student council does it again! Our students council, organized by President, Francesca Pande, worked with a wonderful community partner, Home Depot of North Kingstown, to secure a donation of over 50, 5 gallon buckets to create "safety buckets" for every area students gather at EWG High School. They are also organizing a canned food drive to fill every bucket to be used in an active shooter emergency. At the end of each school year, the unused canned food will be donated to a food pantry and re-filled at the beginning of the following school year. What a nice way to turn a bad situation into a way to help the community. Home Depot of North Kingstown donated the buckets along with one filled with cans to get the drive started.
