Outdoor Learning is Booming at Metcalf School!
We are thrilled to announce the successful launch of our new Outdoor Classroom, thanks to a generous $1,000 grant from the Feinstein Foundation last spring!
Per our grant proposal, we used the funds to create a fantastic learning space complete with "Big Blue"—our new outdoor tent—along with an outdoor rug, portable student seating, and chairs for our teachers.
The new space has been a huge hit! Since the beginning of the school year, teachers have been bringing their lessons outside, utilizing our beautiful grounds for everything from reading and science experiments to art projects.
Thank you again to the Feinstein Foundation for supporting fun, engaging, and enriching learning opportunities for all our students! We are so grateful for their ongoing support.
