Are you a young woman interested in science, technology, engineering, art, or math (STEAM)? Support an EWG Girl Scout’s Gold Award by registering for the dream(S)TEAM Zoom speaker series! The second event in the series will be this Thursday, June 3, from 8:00-9:00 pm EST. Each event will feature a prominent and successful woman in STEAM to discuss her background and journey to get to where she is in STEAM and her advice for middle and high schoolers thinking about pursuing a similar career. Each Zoom will also include a Q&A session to answer your questions live. The next event will take place this Thursday, June 3, from 8:00-9:00 pm and feature Arleen Paulino, Senior Vice President of Manufacturing at AMGEN, who will discuss her journey in biotechnology. Ms. Paulino is one of the directors of manufacturing for AMGEN facilities around the world. She incorporates her love of exploring new cultures into her job by traveling to each of these facilities.
